Gooroo uses cloud computing to help save energy and reduce the need for extra computers and storage within its customers. However, we are also aware that 3 to 4% of all electricity (and the associated carbon emissions) used in the world is from running large data centres. We minimise this impact by only running Gooroo in data centres that use energy-efficient servers to cut consumption and emissions, and use electricity from renewable sources.

Gooroo reduces the environmental impact of business travel by eliminating unnecessary journeys. Finally, Gooroo is highly intuitive and supplied as a service, we do not produce paper-based manuals and documentation, further reducing its environmental impact.
